The first big domino of the MLB trade deadline fell as the Orioles traded Manny Machado to the Dodgers for 5 prospects. The prospects were reportedly upset after they learned that there isn't a single barber in all of Baltimore.

Matt Carpenter had an historic week that featured a homer in 6 straight games and 12 RBI. What's even more impressive is that Carp swung and missed less in one whole week than Danica Patrick did in one monologue.

Noah Syndergaard is headed to the 10-Day DL with a nasty case of Hand, Foot, and Mouth - it appears he's been spending too much time on his Head & Shoulders.

During MLB All Star Week commissioner Rob Manfred made a big push for Angels slugger, Mike Trout, to market himself and be more outspoken...then Commissioner Manfred saw what happens when his players are more outspoken...

Speaking of troublesome old tweets, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was fired after people discovered a series of old jokes he made regarding pedophilia and sexual assault. If only Gunn's tweets had been a bit more racist, he would've gotten a standing ovation instead of a firing.

Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Hawks this week for Dennis Schroder before immediately being bought out. Anthony now officially had the same number of assists for the Hawks as he did for the Thunder.

After the summit with Putin, members of both parties were questioning President Trump’s loyalty. Personally, I don’t blame Trump for a lack of loyalty - all that loyalty ever gets you is a trade to the middle of Texas.

Carter Page went on CNN this weekend to deny allegations that he was an advisor to the Kremlin, citing that what was being reported wasn't quite accurate. In the spirit of things that "aren't quite accurate", congrats to the new Open champ, Francisco Cervelli!
